What they say:
The Social Eating House has a secret hidden above it; The Blind Pig, a cocktail bar with New York-esque dark tones, leather bar stools and booths for a social after work drink in the Oxford Circus area. Unique and extravagant cocktails headed by mixology expert Gareth Evans include the Thermo-nuclear Daiquiri, Cereal Killer and the Silver Screen. As well as bar snacks and sharers called “Bites” and “Jars”, this is a truly chic drinking experience.
What we say:
An opticians isn’t the first place you’d think of looking for a cocktail bar, but with the influx of secret bars and speakeasy style bars the new ones popping up around town are getting more imaginative, and if it produces more cool bars like this we’re not arguing. This is not the first Blind Pig that has attached itself to a London restaurant bar; and with delicious bar snacks and quirky named cocktails (that are frankly beautiful liquid creations), we hope it isn't the last.
