What they say:
The Key is closed.
The Key distinguishes itself from the other speakeasy bars in London with its high-tech and intriguing entry policy. If you can find the deli bar on Margaret Street that it lies within, you'll also need to get a key, tweet them to get the secret password and navigate yourself to the entrance in the deli's bathroom. Inside though, is an immersive 1920s wonderland of chandeliers, secret gardens and innovatively flamboyant cocktails.
What we say:
Adding their two pennies' worth to the glut of bars near Oxford Circus, The Key certainly does its best to stand out from the crowd. Whilst the clever and modern entry policy means that the bar will retain a certain level of exclusivity, it's great that The Key is not strictly members only but open to those cool-kids in the know. The cocktail menu is bound to be exciting and innovative so it's definitely something to look forward to if you enjoy a clever speakeasy bar in London.
