L'Etranger Piano Lounge

The opulent L'Etranger Piano Lounge in South Kensington is an extremely cool late night London bar and sister to the award winning restaurant L'Etranger which it lies beneath.

Inspired by Albert Camus' novel L'etranger, L'etranger Piano Lounge comprises of a decadent basement bar and dining room, attracting a fashionable clientele for late night drinks or a full gourmet experience on the cosmopolitan Gloucester Road. The interior is fantastically decadent, with a lit ceiling created by illustrator Noumeda Carbone, and lush, indulgent seating. Centre stage is their bespoke illuminated glass baby grand piano. 

Their resident musicians are the entertaining duo Ashley Kingsley and Marco Losi collaborated with some of music industry finest including: Beverly Knight, Jimmi Cliff and Chris Rea. (They performed for 14 years at Soprano's bar at High Street Kensigton). You can meet them on Friday and Saturday from 8pm-3am.

If you're looking for a luxurious cocktail, take your pick from a fantastic collection at L'etranger Piano Lounge served by the expert and convivial bar staff. There's also a 1,600-bin wine list with a spoil of old world and new world wines to whet your whistle.  Or why not try something different and order a Sake to compliment their delicious pan Asian cuisine.

For private events, they offer fine wines, canapés and fine dining menus created by our head chef Adam Shamas, previously from Michelin started Arbutus.
