Maremma

From fresh pasta made in house every day to mouthwatering toppings including wild boar ragu and chargrilled octopus, Maremma is an elite pasta restaurant in Brixton (just shy of Brockwell Park), that celebrates authenticity through and through. Settle for nothing less than their sumptuous eats and Tuscan wines in beautiful interiors, including a wine cellar below available for private hire.

Spagnoletti

King's Cross pasta restaurants are topped off by Spagnoletti, the industrial chic 'pasta lab' that's delving out a load of freshly made favourites. Think agnolotti, strozzapreti with baby octopus and more, served alongside everything from tuna steaks to signature tiramisu at dessert.

Bocconcino Mayfair

Mayfair is the moment for this West London pasta restaurant on Berkeley Street that takes it inspiration from the 'beautiful chimes of Italy'. Bringing you seasonal pasta that celebrates fresh and true Italian flavour, dine on ragu ravilo and homemade tagliolini in what we can only describe as quite the deluxe setting. And if pasta doesn't cut it? Try the bottomless pizza brunch on the weekend, at just £55 per guest.

Legare

This neighbourhood Italian restaurant can be found in London Bridge, close to the river. They serve fresh, seasonal dishes to showcase the best of Mediterranean cuisine, with specialties including ricotta ravioli with charred sweetcorn and rabbit ragu.

There's an extensive wine list here that's been expertly curated, alongside classic Italian cocktails and indulgent desserts.

Bancone

The delicious aroma of freshly cooked pasta wafting out of Bancone is a surefire way to lure you in. Split into three sections, their menu is overflowing with the tastiest antipasti, pasta and dessert in town. Give their spaghetti alla chitarra a taste; you won't regret it.

Padella Shoreditch

Flying the flag for best pasta in Shoreditch, Padella needs no introduction. Along with its London Bridge sister, the acclaimed spot operates a no-reservation policy, which is why you'll spot queues for their tasty plates. We're talking cacio e pepe for £12, pairing perfectly with their £8 negroni.

Il Pampero

Go Bottomless with unlimited Prosecco, Bellini or Mimosa! and 1 other offer

Want somewhere to eat pasta in London that will really make you feel something? When you're not indulging in the classy and classic interior luxury of Il Pampero (you had us at that green velvet), their Italian restaurant just shy of Harrods has a pasta selection that celebrates the homemade, from lamb ragu to asparagus risotto. It's on the slightly more expensive side, but if you can't love yourself? Well, you know the rest.

Popolo

You'll find Popolo inside a Grade-II listed building on Rivington Street in Shoreditch, spread across two floors of exposed brickwork and galvanised metal. The minimalist restaurant was created by by Jonathon Lawson and Munar Shah, and they serve up some pretty spectacular Italian dishes.

Their homemade pasta plates are a real favourite, featuring the likes of red pepper and ricotta ravioli, with a menu that changes on a regular basis.

Lina Stores

With sites in Soho and King's Cross, Lina Stores is popular for its pasta all over the city. Expect sleek, minimal interiors here with lots of white decor, with an intimate dining space to enjoy their homemade pasta in.

Their menu changes on a regular basis, but you'll always find favourites like the 30-egg yolk tagliolini with black truffle, butter and Parmigiano Reggiano.

Luca

You'll find Luca in Farringdon, sister site to the popular Clove Club in Shoreditch. This stylish restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows and a gorgeous Garden Room for private dining, which even boasts a retractable roof.

They use the finest British ingredients to make their Italian delicacies, with a huge range of pasta dishes to choose from. We're talking white truffle ravioli, pork ragu rigatoni and cheesy mushroom tagliatelle - yum.

Pastaio

When it comes to pasta restaurants in Soho, we only have eyes for Pastaio. From famed chef Stevie Parle, the West End favourite combines freshly made pasta with mouthwatering starters, desserts and frozen slushy cocktails, all prepared with authentic ingredients and a truly loving touch. Popular? It's that too.

Officina 00

An Old Street pasta restaurant notorious for deep fried lasagne (erm, yep), Officina 00 are proud to make their pasta on site, showing their Shoreditch guests all the work that goes in to a truly humble meal. And when you're not eyeing up that deep fried beauty? Lush over their almond pesta, sourdough and cocktail menu, perfect for Italian lovers.
