The Christmas season is here, and with that come the horrible hangovers - the groggy mulled cider one, the nauseating Prosecco one, the self-pitying gin one, and the angry red wine one. Luckily for you, those kind people at Tabasco are here to offer some respite from the cocktail of morning-after pain you'll be inflicting on yourself this Yuletide season.
The iconic hot sauce brand have announced that they will be running a two-day Bloody Mary cafe in Boxpark Shoredtich. Open from 8am-10am, this unofficial hangover clinic will be serving up a range of 'Micro Marys', miniature Bloody Marys in a variety of flavour combinations, including coriander and wasabi. There will also be a Micro Mary specially created by award-winning bartender Rich 'The Cocktail Guy' Woods.
No pop-up would be complete without a menu of subject-themed foodstuffs, and Tabasco have outdone themselves on this front. Pizza Pilgrims have been enlisted to create a Bloody Margarita, while The Draper's Arms contribute scotch eggs with Bloody Mary dipping sauce. For sweet treats Juliet Sear is on hand with Bloody Mary mince pies, and gourmet confectioners The Marshmallowist will be whipping up some spiced vodka and tomato marshmallows.
Tabasco's Bloody Mary pop-up takes place from 8am-10am on the 14th-15th of December in Boxpark Shoreditch, 2-10 Bethnal Green Road, E1 6GY.
