Frida Kahlo fans can get an extra dose of the iconic artist, as the snazzy Ace Hotel in Shoreditch have launched a multi-sensory dining experience in her honour. To celebrate the V&A Museum's latest Frida-inspired exhibition, you can expect a monthly event influenced by her life. Kicking off with Breaking Bread: Frida's Fiesta this July, you'll find a mix of culture; from food and fashion, to art, music and history.
Head up to the stunning roof terrace, where you'll find food, drinks, paintings and more; all inspired by the legendary feminist symbol. The supperclub menu is organised into sections of life, death and afterlife; with an extravagant selection of Mexican dishes like salt-baked red snapper with mezcal and watermelon candy fluff by Sweet Mother Fluffer. Explore Frida's legacy with live renditions of her favourite songs, insights by fashion historians and even manicures by cult salon Shoreditch Nails.
If Breaking Bread: Frida's Fiesta sounds like your idea of a good time, then head to Ace Hotel London Shoreditch, 100 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6JQ. The next event will take place on the 17th July at 7pm and tickets cost £35.
