Having succeeded in bringing a thoroughly modern makeover to ye olde mead, Peckham-based brewers Gosnells are now launching their first pop-up 'honey bar'. Taking over the space above Coal Rooms, they're within very easy stumbling distance of the Overground, which is reassuring when you hear what they'll be pouring out for you.
Focusing on all things honey, Gosnells Upstairs will be serving flights of the brand's renowned mead - from everyday batches to more experimental servings - alongside honey-based cocktails that are sure to bring sweetness and light to any night out. Those looking to learn more about mead can head down to masterclasses and supper clubs designed to showcase the beverage, while those looking for just a few glasses and a bite to eat will be able to order dishes from the restaurant downstairs.
Gosnells Upstairs launches on Friday the 8th of March at Coal Rooms, 11a Station Way, London, SE15 4RX.
