While Anglo-American relations may currently find themselves less special than they once were, there's one thing that both Britain and the USA can agree on, and that's that craft beer is pretty neat. Preparing to land in Holborn in next month, The Joint Venture is a pop-up pub from Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines that will see 230 different types of US craft beer available for sale and sampling at The Old Crown Public House from the 10th-19th of August.
Showcasing brews from across the states served by the airlines, customers and craft beer nuts can enjoy some very special beverages. From long-standing New York favourites Six Point Brewing, to an extra pale ale from Atlanta's SweetWater that was born on 4/20, and a dry ale brewed by Boston-based Trappist monks Spencer Brewing, there's some interesting options on offer, to say the least.
Open from noon until 11pm, the pop-up will also be bringing you some entertainment in the form of some US-themed quiz nights where winning participants could see themselves the proud owners of some free flights across the pond.
Joint Venture runs from noon-11pm from 10th-19th of August at The Old Crown Public House, 33 New Oxford Street, London WC1A 1BH.
