Famous Spanish wine producers Campo Viejo are injecting a burst of colour into your summer in drinkable form as they host a four-day rioja festival. Following the success of last year's Lake of Colour (a floating restaurant in Clapham), the brand are creating a multi-level wine bar on Waterloo Millennium Green, that will include a balcony with city views along with a robot that senses when you are near and starts to fill your glass.
The group will be teaming up with well known Basque tapas bar Donostia Social Club to create a food and wine workshop that will include four bespoke dishes with different Campo Viejo wines and cavas. Explore the five senses and learn how texture, sound, smell and temperature affect the way we experience food and wine.
There will also be the chance to blend your own wine as experts from the company's vineyard are brought over to teach you how to blend various different wines, leaving you with your very own bottle to take home. Grab a ticket for either experience here. Along with the classes, the festival will also have live music, street food, and, of course, plenty of rioja
Fiesta De Color will take place at Waterloo Millennium Green, Baylis Road, London SE1 7AA on 14th June (6pm-11pm); 15th and 16th June (4pm-11pm); and 17th and 18th June (12pm-11pm). For more information and tickets, follow the link here.
