With fisticuffs an ever-present threat when it comes to nabbing a spot in one of London's beer gardens over summer, it's important to be in the know with outdoor drinking spaces. Especially when they come as pretty as the new offering from Art Yard Bar & Kitchen in the Bankside Hotel. Launching on the 1st of May, the new rooftop terrace is promising views over St Paul's, along with some thirst-quenching tipples. The space has paired with Hambledon - an award-winning vineyard in Hampshire - to offer a smart list of English wines and even a signature snow cone, alongside spritzes and bellinis; and to mop it all up? Think chorizo, Devon mussels and burrata topped on wood-fired pizzette.
Art Yard Bar & Kitchen's new terrace is open Tuesday - Saturday from 5pm from 1st of May. Find it at Bankside Hotel, 2 Blackfriars Road, London, SE1 9JU.
