Escocesa

With a name that means 'Scottish' in Spanish, its no surprise that you'll find a wealth of produce from the country at seafood-loving tapas restaurant Escocesa. This Stoke Newington Church Street eatery is the little sister of Bar Esteban, with executive chef Pablo Rodriguez (formerly of Michelin star restaurant Jean Luc Figueras in Catalunya alongside London's Barrafina and Moro) at the helm too. Their Cumbrae oysters are served with mojo verde, costing £4 each usually but only half that during happy hours. Think £2 oysters before 7pm on weekdays and all day Sunday.
