Skipping the meat and tatties and heading straight for dessert just got a whole lot more appealing as experimentative brand Chin Chin Labs Ice Cream open London's very first dessert club. Located on Greek Street in Soho, the spot will be the third outpost for the sugary company who already have an ice cream parlour in Camden and a dessert bar at Hawker House. Expect their usual scientific take on desserts, which previously includes goodies such as liquid nitrogen ice-cream and salty seaweed wafers.
The famous ice-cream sandwich which Chin Chin Labs have become known for will be making an appearance along with new dishes such as choux buns filled with pistachio and olive oil ice cream, and hand-rolled fondants topped with edible 24k gold. Not content with shoving a flake in your whippy, the dessert bar will take things to the next level with unique methods - there's a sugar-free Miracle Cone which tastes sweet only once you've swallowed a berry pill - all just in time for ice-cream eating season.
Chin Chin Dessert Club will open in May and is located on 54 Greek Street, W1D 3DS.
