Darren Simpson loves a nanny, but not just any nanny, he's pretty fond of his Nanny Bill. Darren Simpson is so fond of his Nanny Bill that he not only based his food truck and business on celebrating her love for real food, he even named it after her. Kicking things off from a hatch in 1970’s Citroen HY truck, Nanny Bill's have become known the city over for their authentic grub and cracking croquettes, and new pastures are now afoot for the team after a stint of residencies at Brixton Beach and their very own bricks and mortar site.
Taking to Birthdays in Dalston this autumn, the East London masses are due to get stuck in to a brand new kitchen residency as Nanny Bill's fuel customers with the likes of pea, mint and feta balls paired with buttermilk chicken, alongside hand-pressed cheese burgers topped with bacon jam. Still peckish? Let them tempt you further with their hand rolled mac and cheese croquettes with hot sauce and parmesan.
Join Nanny Bill's at Birthdays in Dalston from September 14th.
