With March upon us, and the Beast From The East cast back out into the wilderness, it's finally time for London's spring awakening. Kicking off proceedings is Dalloway Terrace who have launched their S/S '18 look.
Staying wild at heart, the foliage that decorates the Bloomsbury restaurant will be getting a refreshing lift of colour thanks to 'vertical meadows' that will line the walls with lavender, sunflowers, hollyhocks and zinnias. Adding a touch of the zany to the aesthetic is a smattering of fairy lights and oversized bees.
Their food and drink menus will also be getting a little makeover. Honey features prominently on the additions to the drinks list, with the arrival of new cocktail, Bees Knees (Hayman’s Gin, fresh pressed lemon and London honey), and Peckham-brewed Gosnell's Mead. Diners can look forward to a series of new dishes celebrating the freshness of the spring season, with seared Red Snapper and pickled heritage carrots with a lemon dressing making an appearence, alongside green pea falafel served with grilled asparagus, tahini dressing and pomegranate seeds. There will also be an afternoon tea, created by head pastry chef Chris Dodds, themed around the importance of protecting honey bees.
Also keep an eye out for some flourishes on the staff outfits as the restaurant has paired up with jewellery designer, Alex Monroe, to incorporate the brand's inconic bumble bee pins and necklaces into the front of house uniforms.
