Set up by the fantastic people who run the Indian Dishoom café in Covent Garden this is a pop up bar part of the Festival of Britain 60th Anniversary that is running this summer on the London Southbank. The concept is based around the vibrant and dynamic Chowpatty Beach in Mumbai with the idea of creating a summer party with a Mumbai beach shack, Indian Food and culture and a few tasty Indian based cocktails to get us Londoners in the mood.

This is a London beer garden with a twist. Drinking on the Southbank may never feel so different this summer, kick back with an Indian cocktail such as the Chowpatty favourite, Juhu Punch, whilst gazing over the beach and River Thames. There is a resident DJ who is promised to be playing Mumbai classics all the way back to 1965 and you can take in the fantastic India Beach Bar surrounds with the bar made from recycled bottles and old crates and barrels kicking about. Those who like their London bars with a little something different will love Chowpatty Beach bar.
