41a Farringdon Street, Holborn, London, EC4A 4AN.
Making the leap from the sunny streets of Lima, to the not-so-sunny streets of Holborn in October is certainly a bold move, but one that seems to have the captial buzzing. Don Ceviche, London's newest pop-up restaurant and bar, will open its doors for 3 nights between the 3rd and 5th of October and aims to bring a little of the South America sunshine dining to the capital. Setting up shop at The Art Cellar in Holborn is also a great choice by the organisers as it is already known for being a great showcase venue for new and exciting dining and drinking projects, as well as being an established art gallery.
Don Ceviche looks set to wow the London crowds with its vibrant food and drinks.
So let's talk food... and drinks. Don Ceviche offer some beautifully decorated ceviche dishes that will not only wow the eyes, but also the taste-buds. With sea bass, king prawn, salmon and beef ceviche all on offer there is a little something for everyone; they also offer another couple of Peruvian delights with the Chimbote (marinated carrots and cucumbers with red onion, Chilaca chillis and cilantro) looking like a real treat. Drinks centre around the Pisco Sour, a drink made from Peruvian grape brandy with an added bite (usually lime juice) - a native son of Peru, this drink will certainly balance beautifully with the fresh ceviche dishes and create a unique dining experience in the heart of London.
The Don Ceviche nights are ticketed and have to be booked through their website. Book here.
