Festivals and summer go together like cheese and crackers, which is exactly what's going down at The Food Fest in Kent. Providing the perfect excuse to get out of the sweaty inferno that is London over the summer, the two-day event is taking place at the gorgeous Mount Vineyard in Shoreham, only 45 minutes from London Victoria. Back for its third year, the food lover's paradise is combining local producers and chefs to bring food stalls, prosecco vans and craft beer bars. The event is showcasing Kent's amazing produce as chefs create a delicious range of cuisine; think posh fish and chips, Mexican, Thai and burgers to name a few.
Entertainment comes in the form of up-and-coming talent from across the region and further beyond, with artists such as Sasha Brown, Jay Scott & The Find, and Orange Circus Band all taking to the stage. Circus acts will also be strolling around the festival (think stilt-walkers and other fun) while diversion for little ones includes interactive cooking tents, a vintage steam fair and art workshops. Being set in a vineyard, the festival will also have a whole lot of wine on offer, including The Mount Vineyard renowned sparkling rosé. Fizzy wine, summer countryside and tonnes of food still not talking to you? The event also has a themed beach area, selfie corner and is raising money for Great Ormond Street's Children Hospital.
The Food Fest is taking place on 2nd & 3rd June 2018 at The Mount, Church Street, Shoreham, Kent, TN14 7SD. Tickets start from £10 and can be purchased here.
