Giant Teddy Bears & Prosecco Candyfloss: This Canary Wharf Bar Is Bringing The Fun Of The Fair

Fairgame Canary Wharf Activity Bar | DesignMyNight

Get a heavy dose of childhood nostalgia at this quirky new bar in East London.

While once a concrete jungle, only frequented by busy suits commuting to their sky-high offices, Canary Wharf has become a hub for fantastic food, cracking haunts and now – Fairgame. Aptly named, this immersive entertainment venue is reimagining your classic funfair; think traditional games with a twist, as well as killer cocktails.

The adults-only party playground comes from Richard Hilton (Gymbox founder) and Paul Campbell (who’s worked with hangouts likes The Alchemist and Hawksmoor). Set to be the stuff of kidulting dreams, it will boast floating carousel booths, fun prizes (we've got our eye on the giant teddy bears) and an Instagrammable riverside terrace.

The games are sure to unleash your inner child, with things like Roll-A-Derby, Skeeball and Shoot The Clown on the roster. Plus, everything will be given an innovative spin using RFID wristbands. These track your scores and compile them into a leaderboard in-app so you can go head-to-head with your mates.

You'll never go hungry either, as a range of the capital's top street food vendors, such as Burger & Beyond and Dos Mas, will be rustling up droolworthy grub. But if you've got a sweet tooth, make your way over to the Candy Stand for things like prosecco candyfloss, boozy sweets and ice cream. To wash it down, there will be three different bars pouring craft beers and tip-top cocktails (including frozen margs... yum). Planning a party? You can also find a load of packages and private spaces up for grabs.

You can now book Fairgame here. It's set to open in autumn 2022 on Fishermans Walk, Canary Wharf, E14 4DH. Fancy more where this came from? Sign up to our newsletter to hear about all the latest openings.
