From the night sky-ceiling in their Leytonstone outpost through to Bethnal Green's flowery karaoke room, Electric Star is a group that knows how to do pubs. But for the latest boozer they've got their mitts on, they've upped the ante when it comes to interiors. For their first dally across the river, the group have taken on a slice of Bellingham history, refurbishing a grade II-listed watering hole that was once frequented by boxer Henry Cooper.
Fellowship & Star has been given a fresh new look, which extends to the state-of-the-art 85-seater cinema. Along with the latest blockbusters, the space will be screening classics with a twist; think Dirty Dancing followed by a dance class and Rocket Man accompanied by an Elton John tribute act. And when you're not catching the latest flicks? The rest of the pub is equally as gorgeous, with flowery wall paper, teal leather booths and the original large wooden bar.
To top things off, sustenance comes in the form of American-style bites, including a particularly delicious stilton burger and the gang's famous chicken wings. If you live in the area, invest in a locals card and you'll be able to enjoy drink deals on Wednesday, while weekends are reserved for DJs, dancing and plenty of their London-centric beer.
Fellowship & Star can be found on Randlesdown Road, London, Rd, SE6 3BT. More movies? We've rounded up London's best luxury cinemas here.
