Fulham Pier is finally opening to the public at the end of April this year.
After being in the works since 2011, the Riverside Stand development at Fulham Pier is finally opening its doors this month, and will be open to everyone year-round. The project is a brand-new addition to Fulham's Craven Cottage Stadium with plenty of welcome additions to its culinary and cultural scene. What Is The Fulham Pier Development?
The brand-new seven-story development is a large add-on situated behind the new Riverside stand at Craven Cottage Stadium, the oldest football stadium in the capital. It's set to include a brand new food hall concept called Riverside Market, with a 250-person capacity.
The Chairman of Fulham Football Club, Shahid Khan, said: "As the first stadium transformation of its kind in Europe, we can’t wait to share the new space with our community and visitors from across London and throughout the world, certainly when Fulham is playing but also every day of every year.”
Director of Fulham Pier, Glen Sutton, continued by saying: "With a year-round programme of events, activations and a variety of food and beverage experiences, we are excited to be taking an innovative approach to delivering a new social destination for residents, locals and tourists in West London.”
What Are The New Food Options At Fulham Pier?
There's a whole host of exciting food vendors that are set to operate from Fulham Pier. See the list below:
- Raps by Tinie Tempah - fried chicken inspired by the rapper's childhood and time spent in chicken shops in South East London.
- Fat Pickle Burgers - delicious smash burgers developed by former Honest Burgers head of food.
- Goila Butter Chicken - branded as India's favourite butter chicken.
- Taco El Rey - serving up Mexican street food favourites from taco kits and burritos to supreme nachos.
- Local Greens - known for its salad bowls and healthy snacks that offer a sustainable food option.
- Happy Endings - independent ice cream sandwich connoisseurs.
- Slice & Dice - New York and Las Vegas-style pizza that's served by the slice.
There's many more exciting food concepts to come, including Adam Byatt's Brasserie Constance which will be opening up in the building later on.
