Curious Yellow takes place on 30th July - 2nd June 2017 at Gibberd Gardens.
All the best things are secret; quirky cocktail bars, illegal raves and Curious Yellow, the mysterious little festival that takes place in a wooded area of Essex. Forget massive line-up announcements and crowded London parks, Curious Yellow is a far more chilled affair, happening only 40 minutes outside of the capital. Set in The Gibberd Garden, the event is a dreamy summer weekend of art installations, live music, activities and DJs playing between sculptures, a mini-moat and a castle.
"Curiosity is the cure for boredom. There is no cure for curiosity," is the festival's strap-line and they certainly aren't giving much away. Returning for its sixth year, the festival is remaining as tight-lipped as ever about its line-up though hints will come via clues, puzzles and riddles posted online. Curious Yellow started life as a rave in the mountains of Wales, and having now graduated to the outskirts of Hertfordshire, the company aim to keep the original sense of fun and free-spirit.
Curious Yellow takes place at The Gibberd Garden, Harlow, CM17 0NA on Friday 30th June - Sunday 2nd July. Tickets start from £75 and can be bought here.
