Let’s be honest, the Great British Summer is crap, there are approximately five days of sunshine for every five weeks of rain. Londoners must take solace where they can find it, which makes the teaming-up of Chase Distillery and Kensington Place during August all the more exciting.
The British distillery, which produces award-winning vodka and gin, will be taking over the Notting Hill fish restaurant’s private dining room until 3rd September.
It’s going to be British and everyone is going to have a bloody good time - Union Jacks will adorn the walls and cocktails will be served in tea cups. Speaking of cocktails, Chase have created a fruity and fresh menu featuring their signature Great Chase (£9.95) which combines vodka, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice, as well as the Mar-Tea-Ni (£9.95) which uses their rhubarb vodka and Earl Grey Tea.
Kensington Place will be providing the nibbles and, as one might expect from a seafood restaurant, there will be fish-filled bites such as potted Devon crab (£8.50) and prawns with Marie Rose (£8.50). If that wasn’t enough fun for you, Chase will also be holding a series of cocktail masterclasses.
The Great Chase pop-up is open until 3rd September 2016 at Kensington Place, 201-209 Kensington Church Street, London W8 7LX.
