Scary season is nearly upon us… and to mark the occasion? Peckham is getting its very own pop-up cinema experience. If you’re a sucker for horror movies, you’re going to want to catch these classic skin-crawling flicks at Forbidden Forest Cinema this Halloween.
Celebrating all things that go bump in the night, the immersive event by Pop-Up Screens will send participants through a terrifying forest in an effort to find some of the greatest slashers, cult classics and bloodcurdling blockbusters ever made. To add to the experience? You'll be watching them all while surrounded by the eerie woodland, complete with hanging foliage, spooky smoke machines and maybe even a mysterious figure or two. Located just a stone’s throw from Bussey Building, the cinema's screening schedule includes everything from Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street, to Get Out and The Invisible Man.
To ensure the safety of all their guests, the event organisers will be implementing a number of Covid-safe policies including reduced capacity, a one-way system, hand sanitising stations and available PPE, so you can scare your socks off safely.
Forbidden Forest Cinema is taking place at Unit 8 Copeland Park, Peckham, SE15 3SN with varying ticket times, dates and prices. The pop-up experience will be running from 23rd October until 22nd November, with tickets expected to sell out beforehand. Looking for more scary cinema?
