Bigger is not always better as Hendrick's are proving this London Cocktail Week. Following the success of last year's pop-up, the group are back in Shoreditch for the Gin Tini Martini Townhouse making the 'King of Cocktails' minuscule, bringing in teeny artists, and filling the air with the sound of micro pianists.
Moments from Old Street, ONEROOM is hosting several floors of gin-based entertainment for three days, including, in their own words, plenty of 'infinitesimally small delights' - we're expecting big things. But it's the drinks which are the real showstopper, as six bars go head to head over the three dates, all competing to be crowned champion of the martini.
Kicking off on Friday 4th October, the experience begins with NoMad Bar (from New York) taking on Singapore's Manhattan Bar; followed by Barcelona's Two Schmucks up against Amsterdam's Super Lyan. Things come to an end on Sunday 6th October with one final tiny gin battle between Parisian Little Red Door and Edinburgh's Panda & Sons. And while the cocktails might be small, they're certainly not in short supply, with six drinks included in each ticket.
Hendrick's Gin Tini Martini Townhouse is taking place at ONEROOM, 9 French Place, London, E1 6JB from Friday 4th October - Sunday 6th October. Tickets cost £13.50 and include six cocktails and two hours in the immersive townhouse. Buy them here.
