Hot Tub Cinema has returned for the summer, and this time it has a new Shoreditch home. The new season of hot-tub film-watching kicked off on June 6th and will last until September. The Summer of Tub will be unleashed on the rooftop of arts and creative hub 'Rockwell House' - offering breathtaking views of the city, with a distinctive East London setting. The sunny summer month will partner up with movie-themed cocktails, a BBQ menu and an early screening - allowing guests to enjoy the evening sunshine, complete with licensed bar. The alfresco screenings will take place four days a week, from Thursday to Sunday, for the first fortnight of every month. There will also be more spacious hot tubs and tub-side waiter service.

Expect a celebration of British films that are perfect for watching in a hot tub, including titles such as: Monty Python’s Life of Brian, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Withnail and I, The Full Monty, The Inbetweeners Movie and Four Weddings and a Funeral. Film themes and ticket release dates for July to September will be announced at least a month before each set of new shows. This return to East London rooftops will also mark Hot Tub Cinema’s first birthday. Evolving from a private party with one tub seven years ago, the first public rooftop screening was on 7th July 2012. Since then the event has grown to include up to 20 hot tubs, two screens and a bespoke surround-sound system, creating a more inclusive cinema experience.
