Pop-up king Jimmy Garcia is back for 2017 with a summer-perfect event. Combing BBQs and bars, the event will take place in a two-storey venue right next to the Thames. Located on Southbank, Jimmy's BBQ Club will feature a downstairs bar area where guests can order drinks and food from the walk-up grill which cooks cheaper BBQ items. Upstairs there will be a more formal dining space which will serve as a restaurant and cooking club.
Chef Jimmy Garcia and his team will be leading cooking experiences as BBQs are built into tables, meaning you can cook your food as you go along. With the help of the professionals, you will smoke up a six-course tasting menu which includes dishes such as The Queenie Scallop, a hand-dived scallop from Dorset with coal-baked cauliflower, and hazelnut crumb. There will also be an 'honesty bar' with gin concoctions, 10 pint beer kegs and wine. Topping things off with a sugary sweet finish will be the build your own Smores, which are melted over tabletop embers - did someone say date perfect?
