London Pleasure Gardens - Summer 2012
2012 is definetely London's year with exciting projects popping up left, right and centre. One of these is the London Pleasure Gardens project taking shape just in time for summer. The Project will be a permanent scaled down urban festival park, which will host a range of seasonal and year-round events and attractions and not just for the Olympics in London and will be a perfect summer destination for eating, drinking and dancing long into the night.

Transforming an ex industrial site into a cultural hub, London Pleasure Gardens will be spread over 60,000 sq.m around Pontoon Dock on the Olympic Last Mile route; providing yet another reason for Londoners and tourists alike to join in the Olympics frenzy.
Although an ambitious concept, you only need to take a look at the brains behind the project to know it is destined for great things; the team have extensive experience mixing cultural disciplines to create unique and influential events. Their projects have spun around the world and include Glastonbury's Shagri-La, Mutate Britain the 1948 Hoxton Street Party to name but a few. From artists to institutions, residents and authorities everyone will want to get on the London Pleasure Gardens bandwagon. Expect to find everything you love about a festival without the mud; from concert stages, wild gardens, cafés, bars, clubs, a hotel, water attractions, a floating cinema and open air summer shows- this place will have it all!
Best of all, London Pleasure Gardens will bring a new innovative concept to the capital's bar scene in the form of a floating cocktail bar! The Floating Cocktail Lounge is an exciting new development and the drinks dream team will be event wizzes Soulshakers ltd. who have been mixing things up at the biggest festivals and events for the past nine years, making this latest venture one of the must go-to bars this Summer. There are also exciting event and night club spaces opening in the form of The Hub and The Dome. It all kick's off on June 30th 2012, with a free music festival.
