Oh we are spoiled for choice aren’t we? This summer, city dwellers will have one more rooftop haunt to cross off their list.
Skylark Roof Garden is a new drinking and dining destination overlooking Notting Hill from the banks of Little Venice. Proudly placed on the 10th floor above Huckster, the 180-cover space promises seasonal British dishes from owner and restaurant entrepreneur Adam Marshall. Guests will be able to chomp on plates of fresh seafood such as chilli Cornish crab salad with avocado whip, pomegranate, squid ink tuile and salsa verde, along with the sauté of mussels, clams and tiger prawns, fresh burratina di puglia with heritage tomatoes and basil and hazelnut pesto. Veggies are also covered, with a homemade lightly spiced aubergine and sweet Romana pepper lasagne and saffron potato fondant.
Of course, there are plenty of beverages to enjoy while soaking up a sunset or planning a stroll through Hyde Park. Key creations include the Skylark signature white chocolate martini, mezcal mule and hibiscus daiquiri. There’s also a succinct selection of quality wines and frozen cocktails for warmer days, including the watermelon washer and Brockman’s frosé.
To snag yourself a seat at this hot new spot, head over to 10th Floor, 4 Kingdom Street, London, W2 6BD. The space is open from 11am - 11pm on Saturdays and Sundays, bookings can be made here.
