The Bare Bones Food Tour is the latest offering by the hot sauce specialists Meat Lust. Sticking to their motto of serving 'thug flavours that punch hard and don't apologise', they've converted a double-decker bus into a mobile BBQ shack and will be taking Londoners on a culinary tour around some of the city's finest restaurants.
Driving through the streets of London and scaring away any vegetarians in their path, the team will take meat-lovers to a handful of different restaurants - the Foxlow, The Bowler, Bleecker, RibMan and Clutch Chicken - where they'll get to try four off-menu dishes created especially for the occasion. Each restaurant's headchef will be on hand, talking diners through each recipe and answering any burning, grill-based questions that arise.
In between stops, commuters will also be given four sample dishes to try, all cooked on the top-floor grill by famous chef Ben Spalding of The Fat Duck and Ledbury. If that wasn't enticing enough, the Gipsy Hill Brewing company will be at the bottom floor bar, pairing each sample dish with a complimenting craft beer from their collection.
The Bare Bones Food Tour will take place on the 4th, 5th, 11th and 12th February 2017. There are two sessions on each day, better 2-5pm and 6-9pm. Tickets for the entire day are priced at a more-than-generous £30.
