There's no need to wish it could be Christmas everyday with DesignMyNight on the case, as we're launching the most kitsch festive bar you ever did see. But the quirks don't stop there; The Mistletoe Mixer is coming to Merchant House for a limited two-week run this August. Yes, you read that right; London is getting its first summer Christmas bar.
Complete with a hidden toilet door entrance, OTT decor and all the retro vibes, from baubles and bows galore to a Santa hat-wearing taxidermy fox, this secret destination offers an exclusive experience with space for 12 people at any one time. And if you're one of the lucky few to make the list? You'll be sipping Christmassy cocktails during a 90-minute booking, all while bopping to the ultimate Chrimbo soundtrack spanning Slade, Shakin’ Stevens and Wham!. Think candy cane-topped Champagne tipples, Grinch-themed spiced apple and ginger highballs, festive negronis, and eggnog and Home Alone-inspired drinks garnished with toasted marshmallow.
It's £35 per person for individual tickets or tickets for two, which include two drinks each. Tickets for groups of between 8 and 12 guests are £65 per person, including four drinks each, sole use of the space and free bar snacks. Make sure you pre-order £25 charcuterie boards too, made up of three types of cheese and three different meats, plus pickles, fig jam, grapes and biscuits.
