If there's one thing we love at DesignMyNight HQ? It's a good cocktail. And the folks at Oriole know all about these. Awarded the title of Best New Bar by Tales of the Cocktail when it opened years ago, and included in the 50 Best Bars list since, this has been a name to know over the years.
Sadly, the original venue closed in December, but that hasn't stopped the team from working their magic. While a new permanent home is in progress, Oriole will be taking over Albie at The Hoxton, Southwark from the 16th March for 3 months of cocktails, food pairings and live music.
On the drinks front, you can expect the same eye-catching touches that made their creations so memorable. Think a tequila, pisco, passionfruit kombucha and hibiscus-soaked Chachani, over to the beautifully garnished Cape Verde which mixes gin, port, sherry and amaro before topping with grapefruit tonic... all while taking guests on a journey around the world. Food will be just as lip-smacking, in the form of pork buns, padron peppers and shrimp tostadas doused in smoked chipotle.
See you there.
Oriole is popping up in Albie at The Hoxton, Southwark from Thursday 16th March until Saturday 1st July 2023. Service will run Wednesdays to Sundays from 5pm. Like this? Discover more pop-up bars in London and sign up for our newsletter.
