No need to console yourself, adrenaline junkies, East London’s unrivaled gaming space and esports bar has opened its doors following a huge refurb.
First things first, Platform boasts an awesome selection of games to try; think Mario Kart 8, FIFA 20, Mortal Kombat 11, Fortnite, and Risk of Rain. Compete like a pro in their fully kitted-out multiplayer zones or be guided through the newest releases by industry experts. Want to do a bit of showing off? Their state-of-the-art stage has space for 10 slayers of the scene, each with pro-spec PCs and peripherals (i7 Intel, 16GB RAM and GTX1070).
But it’s not all about the games, Platform also caters for those of you after a bite to eat or knock back some drinks. Their extensive menu includes themed cocktails like the tangy Goldstar Martini and fizzy Red Head Redemption 2. As for the food, there are some superb slices on offer, like the aptly named Hadouken and Farmville pizzas.
Fancy making the trip boozy with bottomless brunch? Taking place all week long from 11am to 4pm, it promises a dedicated gaming zone complete with table service, one pizza per person and free-flowing prosecco, draught beer or Bloody Mario cocktails.
Player one, player two - let’s go.
Platform is now open at 2b Worship Street, EC2A 2AH, and taking bookings for their bottomless brunch.
