London: rumour has it that it's never short for fun things to do. But what if one of the most naughty, neon golf courses in the city refused to bow down to closure and stuck around for a few more months, making sure that your calendar remained firmly pert? Well, that'd be just lovely.
Sticking it out for the long haul this winter and remaining at their Brick Lane plot, Junkyard Golf Club has extended their stay at the Old Truman Brewery until a whopping December. We get it, you may have been already, but don't be a putt schmuck; not only are Junkyard adding a brand new movie-themed course to add a little cultural depth and what not, they're also coming at you with a brand new roster of themed events (such as a 'Day of the Dead' special in October and an end of year blow-out), and a revamp of their existing three courses for your golfing pleasure. Bigger and better than ever? You can count on it as tickets remain at £9.50 (£10.50 on Friday and Saturday), even with all those added extras.
Junkyard Golf Club can be found at the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. Open seven days a week from 12 until 11pm.
