A greenhouse here, a pasta making class there and negronis, negronis everywhere; if you're partial to Italian prowess, private dining experiences and fragrant flowerbeds, we beg you to visit The House of Peroni this month in London. Gracing the white walls of Proud East and transforming it into a true showcase of Italian culture and life, Margherita Maccapani Missoni will be overhauling the Haggerston spot into a playground of native herbs, and Italian hints.
But it's not just European whimsy that House of Peroni will be offering guests as this year, in fitting with their 'For The Love of Italy' theme, the boozy brand has enlisted the help of Francesco Mazzei to conjure up the menus of burrito tortellini bites, Italian brunches and home cured duck salami alongside a deli and private dining experiences. Giving it some cocktail welly for the second year in a row? Simone Caporale (International Bartender of the Year) will be dosing the crowd on a menu of Peroni Nastro Azzurro infused cocktails and bevvies. Ciao for now.
The House of Peroni can be found at Proud East in Haggerston from May 19th - July 1st. The venue itself is free entry, while tickets are available for the private dining experience and pasta-making classes.
