Cheaper than Champagne, more dangerous than tequila, and addictive as hell, prosecco has taken over London, and frankly we can't imagine a world without it. And it's not just for keeping our bottomless brunches boozy, the bubbly drink is now getting its very own festival in the shape of Proseccoville. The day event will take place at Brixton Jamm, the South London party venue complete with outdoor terrace and - new for summer 2018 - a sandy beach. Dig your toes into the sand and work your way through at least eight different prosecco varieties as traders show off another side to the notorious drink. Along with plenty of fizz, the day will include street food to line your stomach, entertainment and DJs - if you find a better way to spend your summer Saturday, let us know.
Proseccoville is taking place on Saturday 11th August at 12 - 2.30pm, or 3 - 5.30pm at Brixton Jamm, 261 Brixton Road, SW9 6LH. Tickets cost £22 and include at least eight glasses of prosecco; buy here.
