Pop up legend, Rock Lobsta is back in London and with more attitude than ever. The brain child of Carl Clarke, the man behind The Rising Sun’s temporary Disco Bistro residency, this is sure to be a real hit. This time it’s heading to Mayfair’s premier tiki party shack, Mahiki, for what promises to be a crustacean party that you’ll want to get your pincers into.
Mahiki's tiki-style bar is the perfect backdrop for a fun-time party of lobsters and cocktails.
While for most of us lobster conjures up images of classy sophisticates wining and dining in chic style, Rock Lobsta is leagues apart. Don’t be fooled, this is no romantic table for two; this is a no-holds-barred pig out on a bucket load of lobster, aided and abetted by the cocktail concoctions, followed by all night dancing. There’s the Snow Crab Sling, a tasty tequila creation served in a crab claw, or for those that want the traditional lashings of Champagne with your lobster dinner, try their signature bubbly blend, the Wahine-Tini. Plus if lobster isn’t your choice of shelled seafood then don’t worry, there’ll be others up for grabs.
Effortlessly cool, and located at one of Mayfair's party hotspots, Rock Lobsta is a new London restaurant bar worth visiting this summer.
