In London we gather to support each other after a tragedy, despite all this talk of no eye-contact on the tube or heavily sighing behind someone walking at a normal pace on the street. And it’s with this attitude of capital-loyalty that some of the best bartenders in London have united for Community Spirit for Grenfell, to raise money for charity after the Grenfell Tower tragedy.
Top talent from names like Callooh Callay, City Social, Trailer Happiness, London Cocktail Club and Barrio will be taking over the Westbank Arts and Music in Notting Hill, serving up delicious mixed drinks to the attendees. The £20 ticket includes three whole cocktails, though all proceeds from this and the drinks will go to charities the Rugby Portobello and The Harrow Club, which are local community organisations working on the ground, as well as the London Fire Brigade Welfare Fund and The K & C Foundation, to fund local groups. There’s also live music, DJs (with a guest performance from The Shapeshifters), food and a charity auction too. So come along, drink some amazing cocktails and help out your fellow Londoners.
Tickets for Community Spirit for Grenfell in Westbank Arts and Music in Notting Hill are £20 and can be bought here. Tickets include entry and three cocktails.
