The RHS Chelsea Flower Show always brings out a budding crowd of floral enthusiasts, but given that this year will mark a century of the event, there will be a whole host of special tasty treats on offer. None will be as apropos as The Botanist's Champagne and Oyster Pop-Up - right in the middle of Sloane Square. From Wednesday 22nd May - Saturday 25th May, The Botanist will be running an elegant oyster and Joseph Perrier Champagne bar in the square - complete with daily performances from a string quartet. Freshly-shucked wild Colchester, Jersey, Lindisfarne or Prestige Speciale de Claire oysters can be enjoyed individually from £2.50 or by the half dozen from £14.
The Botanist sits on the corner of Sloane Square, a perfect summer spot for a London pop-up bar.
Enjoy with a chilled glass, bottle, or even magnum, of delicious Joseph Perrier Champagne. The Brut Cuvée Royale will be available for £9 a glass, £52 for a bottle or £100 for a very impressive magnum, while the Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Royale will be available by the bottle (£80). Those who are partial to some fizz without the fuzzy head can quench their thirst with a refreshing Pomona Fizz cocktail made with pomegranate, pear, honey, fresh lime and tonic for just £3. This is going to be a few days to remember on Sloane Square, so don't miss out!
