It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...and Hackney is getting into the festive mood by launching its Christmas market. Over 50 independent traders and makers will be bringing a multitude of gifts and goodies to Bohemia Place on the 8th-9th and 15th-16th December. Offering everything from trees, cards and decorations to vintage clothing, craft beers, prosecco, jewellery, ceramics, plants and beauty products, it's sure to be a gift-filled haven for those hoping to pick up an artisanal present or two.
Working in partnership with some of Hackney's coolest venues, the markets will feature festive food and drink from the likes of ABQ London's 'Breaking Bad' Cocktail Experience and St.Johns at Hackney Brewery, as well as plenty of places to pick up a mulled wine and mince pie. There will also be live performances from local choirs to soundtrack your festive frolicking. 'Tis the season of giving so there will be a clothes bank drop for those sleeping rough this winter, and a donation point for the local soup kitchen.
The Hackney Christmas Market is free to enter, and takes place 8th-9th and 15th-16th December 11am-6pm, Bohemia Place, E8 1DU.
