Choose rare sirloin of Allens of Mayfair British beef accompanied with creamed horseradish and a liberal portion of rich gravy; a succulent whole free-range chicken with lemon and thyme served with bread sauce and crispy bacon; or tender pork belly with perfect crackling, Bramley apple sauce and gravy. This is of course served with beef dripping roast potatoes fluffy in the middle and crispy on the outside, theyre almost as good as your mothers. Glazed carrots, mashed swede, roasted parsnips, buttered greens and red cabbage complete the feast, along with a huge Yorkshire pudding to soak up the gravy.
