The Queen Of Hoxton has officially launched its summer rooftop and it's a corker to say the least. Built around the theme of 'Lost Vegas', this latest iteration of the sky high bar, eatery and all-round cool hang out spot transports you to the year 2021 where a eco-revolution has transformed Las Vegas into a new world of greenery and plant life. However, a few remnants of the old Vegas strip remain, most notably the Little Vegas Wedding Chapel, where you and your sweetheart can get wed by the words of an Elvis impersonator - and if things don't work out there are vending machines stocked with divorce certificates.
On until October, this quirky rooftop terrace is one of the top suntraps to while away those balmy evenings, with a delicious array of craft beers and cocktails; choose anything, from their mezcal and grapefruit negroni, to a peanut butter and banana colada. As for food, you'll be able to pick up a tasty selection from their abandoned school bus bar, including a McVegan burger and four cheese toasties.
The rooftop will also be playing host to a number of talks and workshops based around eco-activism and sustainability. With discussions on environmental activism in music, to a sustainable beauty workshop, alongside film clubs, life drawing and good old-fashioned partying.
The Lost Vegas Rooftop is open Monday - Sunday until October 2018, from 12pm - 10pm at the Queen of Hoxton, 1-5 Curtain Road, Shoreditch EC2A 3JX.
