Ladies and Gentlemen cocktail bar is teaming up with Wood's Navy Rum this summer, hosting a pop-up rum bar based on an idyllic canal boat in Kings Cross. Moored just off of Goods Way, the pop-up bar will couple rum-based cocktails with summer canal tours and bank-side boozing sessions.
The mixologists from Ladies and Gentlemen will be behind the bar, using the famous distillery's finest spirits to mix and flair together a range of different rum-based cocktails. To help combat the summer heat, guests can enjoy piña colada slushies or can instead dive head-first into the boat's signature drink, the Greenheart Grog. Made by infusing together rum with lime juice, ginger beer, honey and pink grapefruit, the cocktail is meant to replicate the drinks served on ships back in the days of scurvy and wooden legs.
Accompanying the great drinks, the team will also be serving sea grub, created by the famous canal supper-club team at London Shell Co.
For £15, guests can take part in a booze cruise canal tour down East London's idyllic canal system. But for the most part, the pop-up bar will be moored in Kings Cross and will be free for guests to hop on and off. Trust us, this is some serious rum-on-boat summer action.
The Wood's Navy Rum Shack will be moored at Goods Way, N1C 4BH. The canal boat will be open throughout June, every day between noon and midnight.
