WGIRLS London hosts 1st Annual Date Auction in support of special care baby charity, Bliss
WGIRLS London is planning its largest and most significant fundraising event yet, for auctioning off twelve bachelors and bachelorettes. WGIRLS London, a group of young professional women devoted to giving back in their local communities, is hosting Bid For Bliss, a fun and interactive date auction, on Thursday 8th September, 2011 at Jalouse, Hanover Square, Mayfair in aid of the special baby care charity Bliss (Registered charity no. 1002973). .
WGIRLS London is supporting Bliss as they provide vital support and care to premature and sick babies and one of WGIRLS beliefs is that all women and children regardless of race, religion or financial situation deserve access to quality healthcare and a strong support system like Bliss provides. Every year in the UK around 80,000 babies are born needing specialist hospital care. Money raised will enable Bliss to continue its vital work to help premature and sick babies and their families. WGIRLS hopes to raise £5,000 for this worthwhile cause.
Tarynn Hillier, WGIRLS President says: Bliss was selected as the benefactor of the date auction as they provide vital support and care to premature and sick babies and a strong support system for their parents and families, which is entirely in line with the WGIRLS mission to support women and children in need.
Each year the WGIRLS host a Date Auction to raise money for a designated charity in an exciting and interactive way. WGIRLS is looking forward to our most anticipated event of the year, and are expecting a fantastic evening with cocktails, nibbles and of course the auction of twelve bachelors and bachelorettes. WGIRLS Date Auctions have been a huge success in New York City (and around the US). Tickets for this fabulous evening, are £15 (£20 at the door) giving you access to the Bid for Bliss date auction. Successful bidders will win a date (options include a wall-climbing session, swing dancing lessons, and a private doubles trapeze class to name a few) with the bachelor or bachelorette of their choice.
The evening will be hosted by the hilarious comedian Nicola Wilkinson. There will also be an opportunity to win a variety of raffle prizes, entry to the stunning and chic Jalouse for the entire night, and cocktail and drink specials.
