Can’t get enough festive fare in the city? The Winter Warmer Fortnight is back in Covent Garden and offering up London's first Christmas sandwich-themed festival, complete with delicious holiday-inspired cocktails. You breader believe it.
Decked out with 115,000 lights, huge nutcrackers, and tonnes of towering trees, the area brings a wintry slew of nibbles at all your favourite restaurants. Look forward to un-brie-lievable ham and cheese sandwiches from Chez Antoinette, Argentinian steak wraps from Smoky Gaucho, or for the sweet-toothed, Lilly’s is offering a toasted panettone with orange zest ricotta and chocolate curls.
When you're thirsty, cosy up and take your pick from over 100 varieties of mulled wine, including Floral By LIMA, Crusting Pipe and The Oysterman. Or head to Honest Folk for something different – we’re talking spicy cardamom hot toddies and egg nog tipples. Fabulously Fizzy will also be serving prosecco on tap so you can keep the drinks flowing at the push of a button. Still feeling the holiday buzz? Check out the West Piazza for Dirty Martini and Johnnie Walker’s wreath-covered pop-up bar, where you can tip back a warming Bailey’s hot chocolate or a spiced-gin punch for a little extra kick.
The Winter Warmer Fortnight is now open and will run until the 24th December around various locations in Covent Garden. Like this? Check out the best wintry pop-ups in London here.
