What Is The World Naked Bike Ride?
The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is where more than 1,000 people from across the country congregate in the capital (bike in tow) to raise awareness of global issues happening in the world today, all while baring it all. Groups collectively cycle around London while raising awareness of things such as:
- The vulnerability of cyclists on city streets
- Reducing oil dependence
- Global warming issues
- Celebrating body freedom
Don't worry though, underwear and fancy dress are also welcome on the bike ride if you don't dare to go full bare. Better yet, there will even be body painting stations on the day so you can glam up for the event.
There's also a World Naked Bike Ride in Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester, Sheffield and Southampton.
