186 Shoreditch High Street, London, E1 6HU.
After the resounding success that was Yalla Yalla's Summer Shack, this small restaurant group are back with a new London pop-up this November for a six-month stint on Shoreditch High Street. Specialising in authentic Lebanese and Middle Eastern street food, Yalla Yalla will be an alfresco dining treat for the trendy Shoreditch crowd as they pack punters under their heated canopy. Lebanese lounge music will accompany diners, with belly dancers and DJs set to provide a little extra spice for weekend visitors.
The food is all authentic Lebanese so expect some Middle Eastern classics like Lamb Shawarma (marinated lamb with parsley, red pepper and onion salad) and Chicken Shawarma (marinated chicken with garlic sauce, salad and pickled cucumber) as well as dips, sides, salads and pastries either to eat at Yalla Yalla or to takeaway.
Classic Lebanese dishes like stuffed aubergines, are bound to get Shoreditch tongues wagging.
The drinks on offer will consist of a select wine and beer menu as well as another list of exciting and flavoursome cocktails. Our picks from the menu include the Coriander Martini (gin, Midori, orange curacao, passion fruit, coriander, lime and apple juice) and the Beirut Sangria (Lebanese red wine, apricot liqueur, Arak and grape elderflower lemonade) - with this tasty drinks selection to complement their mouth-watering main dishes, Yalla Yalla will certainly get tongues wagging on Shoreditch High Street this winter.
Open from 11am till midnight from Monday to Saturday and 11am till 10pm Sundays, Yalla Yalla seats on a first-come-first-served basis and do not take reservations. We highly recommend checking out this new Lebanese pop-up import in Shoreditch, it looks like a great place to huddle up and keep warm during the winter months with its hearty cuisine, hot and cold drinks and great live entertainment.
