What they say:
Cocobananas will evoke the spirit of a Brazilian beach party when it opens it's doors to the capital's revellers in June. Guests will encounter a decor like no other; with vintage surfboards, palm trees and even a mini version of Rio De Janerio's renowned Christ The Redeemer scattered across it's two floors. Open on Fridays and Saturdays only, Cocobananas' live DJ sets will see a blend of electro, house, pop and party classics ring out through until the early hours. Innovative cocktails heavy on the cachaça are also on the agenda here.
What we say:
We love a good themed nightspot, and Cocobananas certainly falls in to this category. This latest venture is brought to the streets of Battersea by The Inception Group, who will no doubt be looking to maintain the high standards they have set themselves with their other venues, including Bunga Bunga, Bart's and Mr Fogg's. With two floors of apparently no-holds barred, hands in the air partying with a Latin American feel, Cocobananas is an intriguing new addition to Battersea that has got everybody talking.
