Description
The Cause is a Docklands-based nightclub that comes from the people behind bars All My Friends, The Greyhound and restaurant and hi-fi haunt The Marquee Moon. After a three-year run since opening in 2018, it shut in 2021 and found a permanent space in an old Guinness and Tetley factory near City Airport.
The 100% grassroots, arts and events space supports dance culture and independent businesses with five different rooms and a total capacity of 1050. There's also a huge outdoor courtyard that retains a cosy feel, as well as a state-of-the-art sound system all wrapped up in a DIY feel.
