LICK is a new club attached to the Fire and Lightbox complex in Vauxhall, which is billed as being ‘by womxn, for womxn’. Having started as a recurring night for queer women and non-binary people three years ago, the event has grown to welcome hundreds to each event.
Open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays the club, founded by Teddy Edwardes, will have resident DJs playing the finest in hip-hop and R&B with regular live music shows and performers on the bill. Additionally, the space will welcome food vans to its outdoor area for extra refreshments
This will be the second permanent venue of its kind since the launch of She Soho, creating more relevant and current spaces for gay, bi, queer and trans womxn in London.
