Description
When we think of iconic landmarks in our capital, tourist hotspot Tower of London has to be one of the most well-known; and with the first parts of the building dating back to 1078, it's certainly a strong contender for the most historic as well.
There's so much to explore here, from the medieval palace, full of artefacts from the 1300s, to the moat that's blooming with colourful flowers. And of course, you don't want to miss taking a peek at the Crown Jewels. You can saunter round these grounds at your leisure, but if you'd prefer a little more structure then they've got all kinds of guided options available, including their twilight tours and an immersive gunpowder plot experience.
No sightseeing trip to London is complete without a visit to this famous destination, and luckily you can visit for as little as £34.80 per person, while members of Historic Royal Palaces can enter for free. And if you get a little peckish during your adventure, then check out the many different cafes on site as well.
